With only a few more days left, this is the second last post featuring all these amazing sketches. I want to thank the organiser, Christie, and all the wonderful creators who submitted a sketch. This month has definitely seen a great rush of adrenaline and excitement as I work my way through them. What a way to make a comeback to scrapping!
Also, don't forget that there is a video for each of these over on my YouTube channel.
Day 21
This sketch lends itself to so many moods. I can see modern all the way through vintage. For this one, I used some very old stash. I am hoping to one day soon, use enough of my old stuff, to be able to bring out some more modern stash.
Day 22
Ok so my layout for this sketch ended up nothing like that layout. But I guess you can look at sketches as a jumping off point. Somewhere to start with inspiration, and at times that inspiration can take you down a completely different road. That's exactly what happened to me this time around. I do think that I am going to have to try this sketch again so that I an honour the lovely lady who made it.
Day 23
Unlike yesterdays sketch, I stuck to this one, sort of. I didn't change too much. But sometimes you just have to make it work with your photos and embellishments.
Day 24
Oh gosh, another double. I guess the more I do the, the more I will find them not so daunting. To think that's all I used to done once...ugh. This one has a mixed media background. I have my L plates on when it comes to mixed media, so I did a quick hack using mixed media to hide an ugly paper. Be sure to watch the video to find out what it is.
Day 25
When I chose my photos for this sketch, I didn't realise that the photo size needed to be a lot smaller. I did keep to the general layout of the sketch but just had to make some small adjustments.
Thanks for dropping and Happy Scrapping.
