Christmas In

 Another YouTube hop I have started joining, is one all about Christmas. Every month on the 25th we do a Christmas hop. I think it's a wonderful idea because you generally don't have the time to scrap your Christmas memories at Christmas, and the rest of the year you tend to scrap everything else. So these are the layouts I have done so far for this hop.

When do you scrap your Christmas photos?

I encourage you to do like we do, scrap them on the 25th of each month.

Off The Board - Day 1 through 5

 During the month of July, I am taking part in a series called Off The Board. I can't believe I haven't shared any of those  layouts yet. Wow! So buckle up, as this will be the first of many...lol

So what is Off The Board. Well it's all about inspiration from Pinterest. We all have hundreds, if not thousands, of things we have pinned on Pinterest. This series is about actually using some of those pins as inspiration for our layouts. The series is the brain child of Crystal Barrett from Pineapple Papers.

I have had a ball with this all month. And for some strange reason I have picked out lots of time consuming techniques to try. I think next series I will be wiser...lol

Below you will find all the pictures and vidoes for the first 5 days. If you want to see what I used as inspiration, I normally pop it up in the first few minutes of every video.

Bash Your Scrapbook Stash

 Another facebook group that I love to play along with their challenges is the Bash Your Scrapbook Stash group. This group is all about using what you have and not buying more. I love that idea.

Counterfeit Kit Community

 I love being involved in as many groups as I can because they all offer something different. It is however, easy to feel overwhelmed. So rather than trying to do all their challenges every month, I pick different ones each month. 

Last month I played along with the Counterfeit Kit Community. They choose a collection from a well known designer and encourage you to make your own counterfeit version from the supplies you already have. It is an amazing way to use your stash and curb that feeling of having to buy all the latest things out.

You will be amazed at the wonderful layouts you can create from what you already have, and it makes you look at your supplies in a totally different way.

I will post below several videos and the layouts I made with my counterfeit kit in June.

Girls Down Under - Challenges

 I have mentioned the Girls Down Under facebook group before. It is a group for Australian and New Zealand scrapbookers. Besides weekly embellishment swaps, we also do challenges. There is a weekend challenge and other ones along the way.
