Scrapbooking is HERE at Stampin' Up!

I have been waiting for this announcement for a long time. And I am super excited!
Stampin' Up! has just released what scrapbook products they are releasing September 4.

I will try to paraphrase all the important stuff you need to know.

* Available to purchase from September 4.

* There is a digital only scrapbooking brochure HERE - This is a digital-only scrapbooking brochure, full of scrapbooking essentials and exciting new products. As a companion brochure to the September–December 2024 Mini Catalogue, the products inside coordinate with products from the mini catalogue (and some online only products, too!). With Workshop Kits and some new product releases *hint* Two-Tone Cardstock *hint*, we hope this adds variety and inspiration to the Christmas projects you create.

* Scrapbooking Kits makes it easy - Check out the video below to see an example of what to expect.

* Two Tone card stock now available - To learn more, watch this video.

* White Daisy cardstock from Close To My Heart - If you have used this card stock before, you will be excited to know that Stampin' Up! will be carrying it from September 4. It is renamed to White Willow but that's the the only change. It will remain the same product that you have grown to love.

I am super excited about what the future scrapbooking products will include from Stampin' Up!. I hope you are too.

Be sure to download the scrapbooking brochure and get your wish list ready for September 4. I have already made mine!

Thanks for dropping by.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Have a scrap happy day.

Mixed Media Mayhem

Every Friday I take part in a Mixed Media hop. There are normally two or three ingredients we need to include on our layouts.
This Friday we needed to include a stencil, washi tape and more than one spray.

So this is what I came up with me. A double page which for me is unusual. But I have vowed to get back into double pages so I can get more photos and memories recorded.

Hers is each page up close.

For my stencil requirement I used an old mask from Stampin' Up! to do the bricks around the edge of the pages.
The washi tape edges the patterned paper on each page.
And the sprays are on the leaves.  I used two spritzers, both filled with rubbing alcohol and  one with Garden Green re inker, and the other with granny Apple Green re inker. There isn't a lot of difference between the greens when spritzed, but they were the only two green re inkers I had. When you look at them close up, you can see a difference.
Here are some close up shots so can see more details.

Here is the video for you to watch too.

Scrappy Kathy's 2000 Subscriber Celebration

One of the things I love about the scrapbooking community, is the support of others. So when the opportunity came up to support a fellow crafter, I couldn't resist.

Scrappy Kathy has recently reached 2000 subscribers on YouTube. Congratulations Kathy, that is an awesome achievement. As a fellow content creator on YouTube I can appreciate the work it took to get there.

So in celebration of this awesome milestone, Kathy asked her fellow creators to participate in a hop.

We could do anything we wanted but I chose to scraplift one of Kathy's awesome pages, and this is what I did. Kathy's original page will be down the page a little further.

I love how this turned out. I would never have made a page like this without Kathy's inspiration below.

You can watch my process video below.

Off The Board - Days 26 through 31

I made it! I managed to do a layout every day during July using my Pinterest pins as inspiration. Each layout also has an accompanying video.

Would I do it again? In a heartbeat! Things I would do differently - no try so many new techniques...lol

So here they are, the final layouts.

Day 26

Day 27

Day 28

Day 29

Day 30

Day 31

I have learnt a lot from this process. One of the biggest things was that by trying lots of different things, I realised that I was not happy with a lot of what I produced. From that came the realisation that it was because I had strayed from what was my natural style. I think I was trying to be more artsy if that makes sense.

So after this series finished, I sat back and had a few days off. Now that I know where my true happy place is in regards to style, I hope to bring you lots more layouts that I am happy with.

I hope you have been inspired by all the layouts in this series. Remember to stay true to your syle.

Thanks for dropping by and have a scrap happy day.

Cheers,

Narelle

Off The Board - Days 21 through 25

Getting down to the last handful of layout shares. It has been fun but a lot of work. I think my this stage I was tired of trying lots of different new techniques, and started to look for pins I could scrap lift.

Day 21

Day 22

Day 23

Day 24

Day 25

Only one more share to go. I hope you have been inspired by all these layouts, and to actually use the inspiration on your own pin boards.
Thanks for dropping by and have a scrap happy day.
Cheers,
Narelle
