Hi there,
I'm so glad you found my little blog.
I'm not sure where to start really. But one thing I know, is that I didn't think I would be creating another blog. You see I had one for nearly 10 years when I was a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. When I left I stopped paper crafting and deleted my blog. That was a bit rash as now I have no history of all my beautiful creations.
So when I stopped paper crafting, I fell heavily back into cross stitching. And as with anything with me, I jump in with both feet and I let it consume me. Now four years later and the passion for cross stitching is waning. Well that's not 100% true I guess.
About a month ago I felt the urge to start paper crafting again. Scrapbooking actually. I was an avid scrapper before I found Stampin' Up! and fell into the subconscious belief that I needed to make cards because that's what Stampin' Up! sold their products to be used for. Silly really. I stopped making cards because I didn't see people sending many cards anymore. I haven't received or sent a Christmas card for years. Same with birthdays and other occasions.
Now I am back scrapping, I can see that my thinking was flawed. Of course you can use Stampin' Up! products for scrapbooking. And with the recent closure of CTMH and some of their consultants joining Stampin' Up!, I have heard that they are developing a new scrapbook line. I really hope so. It may even tempt me back to join. Never say never!
So I have decided to start a blog again so I can share my paper crafting, primarily scrapbooking. We will see where this journey takes me. For now I will pop up posts of all the pages I have done since I came back to it a few weeks ago.
If you have made it this far, you deserve a medal. Thank you for reading this. Now lets get onto the pretty things.
Have a scrap happy day.
Cheers,
Narelle
